i watched sisterhood twice, ystd and today. it's better with the second watching. but lena's story is extremely changed. i guess the new plot's just as nice except that lena's quietness showed better in the book. and they are all really pretty girls, except for carmen. even my mum who's usually nice, calls her" ah pui who looks very auntie" :D

lena represents one extreme of being quiet and shy to the pt of endangering herself and others. also because she is naturally stunning, she tries to cover up her beauty by withdrawing even more. carmen and bridget represent the other extreme of recklessness, single-mindedness and passion. and then in the middle, there's tibby who, surprise surprise, is the rebel. she's the one i most identify with. very balanced despite her misfit outward appearance; she makes alot of mistakes but none as big as the others, and is the silent listener who sticks to her principles.

i like stories like that, they have alot of cliches. but really cliches are sometimes the truest things in life. dont laugh..even i have a hard time convincing myself that. but we all got to try to come down to earth and realise how we do think and say the corniest things sometimes...and that is the human condition.

sigh i hope i didnt ramble...

overdue photos...

yepp that's us with leeba..except robin the colonel sanders who was MIA on farewell assembly day. little-known fact, i'm fourth tallest among the 13 girls. NOT BAD right. haha but i'm sure u can tell from this pic. shawwwties.

another 04a51 photo. the horrrible guys always take up the front and make all of us stand. maybe they're insecure abt their height.

that's shirin, char and me with the blue balloons that rep our house(aquila). another little-known fact, i had to bend to make char more confident abt her height. hehe. shhhhh..but shirin stands at an astounding 168 cm i think..

haha the old -fashioned china photos..that's mummy seehwei in front, ah kong jiachuan in the middle and daddy yenchin. that's meimei mak. i'm not telling her real name. to me she's mak. it's my PW grp last year btw. we're all still tight.

what did i tell u abt guys? siiighh..haha :) from left to right: derek, justus and jiachuan.

and that's shiwei. sweetness personified. we spearheaded the slow-eating campaign! :D i'm very proud to have known her in vj. and she turned 18 ystd. happy birthday dear girl!

he bought dinner for shiwei ystd...so nice for a guy who usually gobbles any food up immediately. haha, presenting justus!i can think of a million rude names for him but nevermind..
