dont get me wrong. i dont wish ill on you, i dont want to have to be the bad guy(though of course, in the game of blame, i can be painted to look like one) and i dont want to have to air any dirty linen. maybe forgiveness comes from a distance; i dont know. just dont try to push it too close for comfort.

i'm so proud of how much jeremy has grown. from someone whom we had to push to come to church to someone who is asking questions on how to reach out to non-christian friends and theologically hard ques!

and i believe helping out in sunday school has exposed me to the growth of our younger brothers and sisters. it's so nice to see how God works in their lives...and i believe it's work like this that helps us to view things and do stuff that have an eternal perspective to it.

it's only so very recently in the 10 years i have professed to be a Christian that i realised how meaningless my life is and that i surround myself with transcendetal stuff. But now, i want to move out of that and fight the forces that want to snatch my God away from me. To put aside the things that dont matter and to live in Christ, grounded in the Word incarnate and the double-edged sword God promised the Bible to be. No more turning back!

this is quite funny. i added my next door neighbour coco online a few weeks ago when she was making noise in my room. and today i found out i mistyped one word and this chilean person is talking to me!!

she asked "hablar espanol?" i think that means if u speak spanish and i said no. but she still wanted to continue to talk so oh well, guess i made a new friend today. i kept saying bye but she keeps asking me if i know where chile is and what do i know abt it.

ok end of anecdote.

"live and let live." sometimes there's just that little squeaky spoke in a wheel that refuses to be greased...know what i mean? or a little strand of hair that stays upright even after continuous gelling. but my point is, i think sometimes it's really hard to tame our character? and to swallow the humble pie? rather i want to be stubborn and rash. hmmm...

a week has passed since i watched it on dvd and i still have to say that it's SO nice. kept gushing about it to anyone who listens(mostly soft-hearted, romantic girls). nice nice nice nice nice. pretty sopia myles. hot faced james franco(shiying's words..not mine). lovely story.

i'm determined to make my next 7 weeks of school + 2 weeks of exam fufilling and God-serving. i guess there will be times when i start counting down to the next 1 week break and then during the exams i will look forward to the 5weeks vacation(BLISS!)

BUT

i know that's not God's purpose for me. Definitely not to just live for what is to come but to be happy and thriving where i am. i'm thankful that workload has been manageable thus far and that ive alot of support from family and friends. and most of all from our good God.

it gets pretty hard to do QT when sleeping patterns change and when there are so many things shouting for your attention. but i think God gives His grace plentifully so though i think i shld be more aware of a time set aside for Him, He is still available always. Speaking to me in quietly subtle ways everyday.
