it was a super rainy day and we were freezing our butts off for abt 2 hs. we perservered tho in the name of fun and when the sun broke out..it was so wonderful, i could hear angels singing through the rays of light!

we were on H (from the map) cycling on this monorail thing when the sun shone on our goosebumpy cold skin and we were like leaping in joy. before that we were playing all the really lame stuff cos we didnt want to get too cold. so we waded ard in the kids' pool, stoned in the shiok river(which was self moving).

we went to E to catch some sun first properly. the tsunami thing started and we were splashed back to shore..my goodness la. guessed the pool doesnt want us to laze ard. so we went to play this..

ular la! stupid name i know.

the mat tending to this was super funny, he kept scooping water to throw at us as we stood in queue. then when it came to yp's turn, he gave him a bucket and said

"sir, u can decide what u want to do now..throw at me or throw at them?" (pointing mostly at helpless me)

yp being the ass he is, smiled and flung it suddenly at me and all the little kids lining up with us. hahaha. it was too short la this ride. we were supposed to be like white water rafting but i felt more like i'm just sliding ard. the kids loved it tho and they were like seasoned cos they even knew when to smile at the camera. then we went to..

the slideup thing! that is SO not me and YP ok..

whoa! lumpy, that is how we were supposed to sit so that i dont get shocked when we got pushed off. wah piang, yp was facing me cos we saw everyone sitting like that. the freaking thing is 4 storeys high and like so steep it might as well be vertical! i did NOT know what i was in for until i saw his face changed to O.O

FREE FREAKING FALL.

if only the ride was longer. i think reverse bungee feels something like that too. i still wish we had more time for one more ride. but that meant we will be even later for cg. gulps. we shld all go there one day with the kids in jrs..imagine deborah, chris, nicholas, wilson, neoyun, and the big kids eugene, hongyu etc. going crazy. so fun!

we played more stuff at the children's playgrd which doesnt have a nice pic so i'm not putting it here. i love all the booby traps and spraying guns thingies. we loved the giant yakult thing that throws water down at all of us. haha cheapest thrill on earth. yp bullied this kid when he yanked down water at him when he was trying to yank water down on SOMEONE else. hahaha! funniest thing of the day.

typing this put a smile on my face..and i'm prepared for another round of mugging.

i used Veet today. it's not that effective,plus time consuming, and i remembered the last time i used it, i thought the same thing too! must tell ow yau png that because of him i wasted 30 mins! grrr...

last night, i watched the most B-grade of all B-grade films... DOA! otherwise known as Dead or Alive. chockful of bikini babes and badly done CGI effects. i think the worst was when kasumi jumped off the roof into the air and her robe got stripped off and she was in some gliding thing and exercise clothes.

but apart from that, loved the campiness of it all. they even had DOA beach volleyball :) and the coolest character had got to be Tina, the pro-wrestler! she's the only who can really fight. devon aoki..please *rolls eyes* holly vallance *snorts* and the girl who acted as that bimbo helena..er, i dont think she even has muscles? but tina was cool. esp when she fought with her dad in the middle of the lake.

ok enough of a silly update..back to my books!

Your strength is made perfect in my weakness (II Corinths 12:9). Can I ever forget this? Sometimes i do. I feel like i've failed to do what is pleasing to Your sight; fallen short indeed. The past few weeks of teaching about loving our enemies; to leave our gifts at the altar and be reconciled with our brother first; to unload our enemy's burden...makes me guilty. I feel like i'm two selves that cant meet unless You help me to. How can i say one thing to the sec 1 kids and yet act in another way?

please help me to take Jesus as the best example we all can have and forgive as He has forgiven us. I want to pass this test also because i know if i dont, it may drive a wedge between me and the people who matter most, especially yau png.

and I really really really am thankful to the people i hold so dear. Thank You God for all of them! I will look at them and always think of Your goodness.

just returned from central library. whoooa, i borrowed 2 books on descartes for my second philosophy term paper. BOY, that section is madness. ontology, epistemology,dissections and discourses of so and so,post-neo-modernism,blahblahblah...

ppl actually major in this and graduate as a philosophy honours or even masters and my profs are philo doctors. my mind can blow just thinking abt that. i wanna go back to plato's cave and stay safe there...dont wanna keep questioning my beliefs and value system. let me just look at the poor substitutes of plato's ideals shadowed on the dark and dank cave walls. PLEASE.

haha i realised i sounded abit psychotic but it's all good. i've never been one to stress abt studies. my mum is very pleased with that cos 2 studies-stressed daughters will be one sad sad mother. i'll push myself to do this paper well. heck, 2 books on descartes ok! i didnt even borrow a single book for soci term paper and NEVER at all back in jc history. nevertheless, all work and no play makes elaine a very deprived undergrad indeed. so lumpy and i are going shopping on saturday. hooray!

how often can u find a guy who is willing to go shopping with u and may even be more excited than u? (teehee. jean paul gaultier eh?) if he funds from his pockets..ladies, he's a keeper! haha no la seriously, dont make your guys pay for your sprees...most of them dont belong to the bourgeoise. we are all proleteriat. up and on marxists!
