It's Man U vs AC Milan early tomorrow morning! At Old Trafford. And then crunch time as they meet Chelsea twice in the next 2 weeks, with a possible third meeting for the champs league final if AC Milan crashes to the glorious Red Army! When will my team be in the battle for the treble again? I hope when I travel to watch them play at OT-- the theatre of dreams. I cant wait to grow up! And earn my own dough...

But meanwhile another battle is fought on the homefront-- EXAMS! One paper down yesterday and it was really hard. I think I may have made a mess of it but I will not fear. Because,

Yepp our Lord has overcome the world and His peace is with us because every victory against sin and death has been won. This verse has helped me through all my quiet and unspoken worries. And assurance comes from it everytime a speaker preaches on it and everytime a friend gives me a card with this verse, and everytime I read from this book.

2 battles: one won already because in all things, perfect love drives out fear. The other one? We'll just have to wait for tomorrow morning at 2:35 am :)

I cant seem to comment. But I'll find a way! My friend, Hamster, is attacked by people who can't seem to spell or create a logic link. Today I was studying with the Chipster when I was surprised by an MMS from Hams with the picture of that amorous couple. She said she wanted to send it to Stomp.sg and I helped her with the caption. And Stomp called her to say that the picture was accepted (so it's not like some kind of lame and unregulated post). And so it's up and yes, old issue of PDA. Nevertheless, it never hurts to educate.

Yes I know that if we reply, it will only start a flame war but honestly isnt that what Straits Times want? So that they can put it in their Sunday Lifestyle or the Gen-Y section proclaiming that Stomp! is working? So I say let's give it to them :)

Besides we are all a little bored from mugging. Let's say Hams feels the same way when she took the photo too...

hehe :D first cheesy grin at night safari. Too happy to smile with eyes open. No other photos cos night mode on nokia phones are the pits. Anyway I turn 20 there with ben and jerry's. And a whole load of nocturnal animals... cute!

The next day (9th!) at equinox where we stuffed ourselves silly...

food! yummmy :p nearly burst my gut with all the richness of the food. Rows and rows of beautiful dessert, high tea staples, ice cream...whoo! And the 70th storey view of the city and more. I swear I saw sentosa but YP didnt believe me. Smack him. Oh yes the wine cellar was pretty fantastic too. I didnt recognize half the liquour there.

the orange dog was by bikini and it looks so much better than hamster's pink cobra-dog. Well done bikini! We know you have ONE skill at least. And i love the swords and the flower bouquet too. Ahaha!

go shawty it's my birthday!

yay turning 20 was a blast :) :) all my love and thanks to everyone who made plans, who gave me such special birthday blessings and who simply remembered.

4 people+ a dog who made me giggle with the happiness of a choc mousse cake and family-ness. Thanking God for the 20 years of my life that I spent with my rubbishy and great parents. And the 15 years with my sister mojo. And the 8 years with my scruffy crosby.

20 odd people led by ah ma D. and Nat in singing a birthday song that faded at my name and for the poke-elaine thing. Oh and congratulations once again dude for the LKC scholarship. Praise God!

6 overseas messages that touched me because you guys remember whereever you are. Especially love the card from Eric telling me that I dont special potions to stay young :) and Kandy for the sweetest message. I miss you! And too my chum Holes, Gents and Nad, thank you so much for our manymany years of friendship. Take care in Aussieland and Kiwiland ya'll!

2 retarded inanimate objects for my balloon surprise, cheesecake and a promised shopping+mugging trip this saturday. Bikini, you're my favorite roommate ever *cue soppy music* and Hamster, a giant toast to our pri school days and hall days. We ARE destined for greatness. WORD.

a few old friends who I'm meeting up over the days for lunches and dinners, etc. Ng, yay we're going out tonight! I cant wait! Seehwei and Joseph, not this time round but thanks alot for the nicely worded well wishes. Joseph actually started off with "beloved sis..." AWWW, i melted. Louis for prata treat last night. and yes also to the old friends who remember me getting older together with them.

of the O.C and 6 weird things tag...

ok so I've finished watching the O.C season 3. No more scolding the laptop as the characters do one dumb stuff after another. Isnt it highly ironic that the dumb bimbo of the show, Summer, is the only one who didnt do a single dumb thing? But i really really enjoyed watching it. It's soap opera with a much glitzier premise. I'm an O.C convert ( are u happy sara? :)) I'll watch seasons 1 and 2 when my papers are over in a month's time. Can't wait!

Now for my own private rant about the O.C which only people who watch will understand *hint wink* psssst go watch!

I totally cant believe that Marissa went with Volchock after breaking up with Ryan. He doesnt bathe! And he's all grimy and probably smells of liquor and ciggs. El grosso. And their romping scenes made me cringe. SO bad. Ryan and Sadie weren't any better. It's just wrong..off..eeew. They were rebounding and I think they both knew it. And the final ep when things seem to be getting better, something awful and heartbreaking had to happen. Argh. Guess that's why I'm not watching season4. I'll wait til I finish 1 and 2 first.

And I know Seth and Summer are the cutest but they really are awe-inspiring. 2 different personalities and they share a pretty amazing relationship. I think that Seth learnt alot from his dad and mom. And the whole Brown Uni thing is really quite touching in a spastic way cos i'll pick truth anytime. Summer got into Brown while Seth didnt. Knowing that Summer will not go if he doesnt go, he decides to lie to her that he has lost interest in Brown and that he doesnt love her despite it being his dream college since a kid. BECAUSE HE DOESNT WANT HER TO THROW AWAY A PRESTIGIOUS ACADEMIC CAREER FOR HIM. How sweet! I wouldnt do that! I would just tell her and slowly persuade her to go to Brown. Guess that's why this a TV show and not reality.

And the on again off again relationship between Ryan and Marissa is sad. Cos they're just really ill-fated lovers. I think whenever they end up with other people, they may be happier but the experiences they have together and the intensity just can't match up? And Ryan always protects Marissa even when they arent together. Heroic la..especially the last ep. Sigh!

Now onto the 6 weird things tag that I'm supposed to do quite awhile back but was busy with term papers.

6. I havent been this hooked to a show since sec 2 when I was hooked to some Jap serials which is less dangerous to be addicted to. They only have 12 eps. I generally dont follow T.V hypes. Dont watch American Idol, Prison Break, Lost, etc. Maybe So you think you can dance and America's Next Top Model.

5. I can't whistle.

4. I kinda like cheesy '80s music like the "it's my party and i'll cry if i want to" song. Hehe. Probably Y.P's influence whenever he karokes it down the phone.

3. My feet is big as opposed to the rest of my body. I think I'm a size 39 sometimes. That's like a UK size 8/9. But they're mostly big cos of my long scrawny toes which can be passed off as fingers. HAHA!

2. I youtube for the strangest stuff. Like parodies of music videos and lip-synching. I aspire to make a MV that spoofs some funny rap one with all the blingblings and YOYOs.

1. When I was a kid, I thought that the guy who hosts America's Funniest Video was really really handsome. Dont know what was wrong with me la. Haha.
