POPPIN' ONExams in a week's time and I just wanna pop off to a little island with all the beach essentials in tow.
Anyways, some stuff I've been up to:

If your eyes are sharp enough you'll be able to spot Tehsi, Sadx, Rawkx and GG (Good Game).

The proud inventors of Ah Beng/Nigga Scrabble. We threw out the rule book. It's too lame.
GEK 1052 community service project

The best project work group in my 3 sems at NUS.
L-R: Michelle, Wan Ting, Jamie, Angie, Wendy and me in plaits and PL uni!

With our partner organization AWARE.
So we have planned a pretty good workshop for them. And went for an excellent one with SCWO. Proud to say that I am a Love Ambassador with a fuchsia wristband to prove it. Will miss my project mates and all our incredible nonsense. Niao-ing Wendy being the topmost.
Attempted cookie baking

I adore Ow's spazzed out face here. Jo appeared briefly while I was capturing this shot and she was extremely apologetic. My cute little sis.

...and then Ow returned the favour as I was getting Jo to pose with the ugly but delicious cookies.
10, 8, 6, 4, 2 weeks until every paper ends and I
- head down to Cafe del Mar
- go on a shopping spree (partially funded by a very generous man's wallet)
- finish the last 2 eps of Heroes and start on Season 2
- start on The O.C Season 2
- go on Sakae Sushi buffet with my project mates
The wait is worth it.
Take good care everyone!

Warning! Girly post ahead.Lovely Coach bags. The leather looks yummy. The hardware unique. And I wish I make enough dough to be the cliche career woman toting a designer bag. Although Coach is one of the least expensive ones on the market.
Feast your eyes on these:

Bucket bags with minimal dangly stuff..I approve!

I really like this one. The colour is perfect and not too showy.

Very working woman. It would look sharp with a pencil skirt, understated black plaid jacket and a white blouse. And matching camel pumps.

And of course, the classic monogrammed handbag. Don't really fancy it but the colour is pretty.
I know this may seem utterly bimbotic and pointless but I really feel that a good bag is a good investment. More so than having tonnes of clothes. It is going to carry all our necessities. It can also make or break an outfit. While I wouldn't scrimp and save just to lay hands on a designer bag, it totally wouldn't hurt to be able to afford nice bags. Plus if kept in a good condition, they can be passed on to our daughters! I always wished my mom took better care of her clothes and stuff and didn't just throw them away. For now, I'm lovingly caring for my jeans which may just hold up well enough for a couple more decades. As for my growing junk jewellery collection, I hope that they won't become real junks in years to come.
Is it in the girl's psyche to enjoy the look and the feel of chiffon, leather, diamonds, lace, cashmere, etc. etc.? Been watching Gossip Girl and their clothes are so beautiful. Jo and I kept sighing. Sometimes I wished I could be like an environmental crusader (or an anti-sweatshop activist) and just wear like organic hemp or whatever. But I think it's innate, this love for clothes and stuff to wear and carry. I really admire girls who don't give a hoot about their clothes. It's like an inescapable trait for most of us. We've just gotta live with it...and ease ourselves out of impulse buying. They end up mostly in the back of the closet anyway.
So it's November. Ng's heading back in just a bit and I'm pleased as punch. Also, can't wait until exams starts.

My 2 men. Dad's my old man. Crosby qualifies as my old man too. Old fart that he is.
Recently, he's been ignoring me and getting too close to Ow. Picture is testimony of their brokeback love.

Fooling around while choreographing a pop dance item for her youths' mission trip.
All these on a 2megapix camera phone. I think it's not half bad! Wish I took pictures of cell group to round this post up. Or maybe the books I've been borrowing from school. That'll do the trick.
